On Tuesday, May 15th 2012, in Ljubljana was held an event titled Strategic examples of good practices of business analytics. The event was organized by Marmis Distribution in collaboration with IBM Slovenia and its partners, Poslovna inteligenca, Insight and ADD. The event was held at the IBM Innovation Centre in Ljubljana.

There were several interesting presentations including a presentation of Poslovna inteligenca about preventing fraud in insurance companies (Fraud Detection). Other presentation themes were the use of systems for planning and reporting and use of Cognos TM1 as a tool to support strategic reorganization.
